Never mind. Haha

But what size did you get and were these from the sample sale or the bespoke England sale?

That was all the BE sale. He stole a couple pairs out of my cart. Lol.

I got 3 pairs of GG on the way and a pair of Lobbs from nick too.

I remember that being the other way around my friend...If not for you I may have had a dozen in the cart. Not sure if I should thank you...or smack you...but...hey...no complaints with the haul overall...lol...

Thanks to all for their words of support. It's important to have an understanding support network in times of trouble & concern. Lol. But seriously....it was a nice sale for the bigger footed gent...and with eveyone always stepping on us we need a bit of a break. And heck...Now that I've knocked G&G off of my "must try" list I can finally start in with thos St. Crispins I've had my eye on. . Lol.

I love the way you sample, lol!  Check out some St. Crispin's live when you're in town.

If that was a try, I'd love to see what happens when you fully commit! lol8[1].gif

I could have let it go...but...who couldn't use a(nother) high quality brown semi-brogue oxford in their wardrobe at such a reasonable cost? Am  I right here guys? lol

Hi, what is reasonable to you if I may ask? Do they have seasonal discounts?

Reasonable to me for a pair of G&Gs was £400 ($570 U.S.) to include trees. I'm not so sure as to seasonal sales but this was a "last pair" sale of larger sizes (11-12 UK).

You can hardly conduct a proper experiment with only 1 test subject. biggrin.gif

I will most certainly hit LeatherFoot & try out the St Crispin's when in town. Who knows...maybe they'll even have something in my size on sale. Lol. Funny that I had to move out of the U.S. before thinking of visiting Canada. Of course it's technically my children that bring me there... but whatever. Lol.

All in? Give me a clear credit card, extra storage space, & a moment without my wife watching the billing statements, & let's see what happens. shog[1].gif

I agree with everything with the exception of credit. For me this is all fun, no need to place any undue burdens on myself.
