Whatever happened to nick's monthly mto g&g fest?

Used to enjoy hearing all the suggestions?

I miss the hypothetical designing and makeup combination ideas, which I understand was a byproduct of the vendor spam, but that aspect is missed...

I'll do a quick spam for Nick as these just arrived. I'm quite happy to be joining the Wigmore club as I've admired everyone else's for quite some time. Always excellent service and impeccable finishing.

You have been on the roll just make sure you wife does not find out the total value of shoes you have been buying recently. Anyways great choice tell us about the color and the color of the lining? It looks "burgundish" to me. I am thinking about the wigmore too but TG73 does not fit me so I am on the fence either buy half a size larger or got MTO for the last that fits me.

Thanks, Laufer. We actually have a deal...I have to wear every new shoe purchase out with her for the first time on a nice dinner. As we're headed to London/Paris in less than a couple of weeks, those dinners are about to come due in a big way.

These are the Vintage Rioja/Burgundy Grain pair and the lining is definitely burgundy. Funny enough, for all my G&G boots I actually size up a half a size and they all fit quite comfortably on me in DG70, MH71 and TG73 which these pair are on.

The Saphir No. 6 (Navy) worked a treat on these....(excuse the ****** phone pics). I will get some daylight shots and spend more than 5 minutes polishing...

Received my Vintage Cherry St. James II from Nick at Bespoke from the sale. I got them a lot quicker than I anticipated since they were already out of stock when I ordered. I was honestly blown away with the quality. Let's just say I'll be placing another order with Nick in the near future. I'm thinking of picking up the Vintage Rioja Canterbury.

That navy polish is a force, I'm glad it worked out. Can't wait for some daylight pics :lurk:
