@TtownMD When will you be posting pics of your Gatsbys in the wild? It took all my willpower not to order the same black/pearl grey combo this morning and go in a different direction. But that makeup is fantastic and it's only a matter of time before I get it. It's inevitable.
They are in in process of being made

I will once I get them I was not happy with the damage issue & ended up communicating with the store & redue is in the process but long way to go but in mean time happily waiting for kudu isham to come in any time. Also I think I would go crazy if I was living close to savile row G&G store.

Still, a deco Thorpe/Isham - were it even possible (and as far as I know it isn't) - is a step too far for me. Too much of a clash of style between the sharp deco lines and the casual-to-rugged aesthetics of the Thorpe for my taste.

But a Thorpe or Isham on the MH71 would definitely be of interest.

I know what you mean. I love many of the GG lasts and think that the MH71 is a better choice for the Thorpe and Isham. That is what I have for my thorpe and my Isham on order.

So a Cambridge MTO made on the deco last carries the same price as if it were made on standard lasts, i.e. £1050 for EU, £875 for non-EU.

Yes I read about that as well so it is nice for many people to know. I think it is only for some of the non-deco models to be available on the deco last as a MTO with only the normal MTO fee.

Just ordered a pair of Holdens in mink suede.

And spent way too much time trying to decide a Gatsby combo (a first of many - that model is pure sex). Finally settled on a vintage cedar calf/fox suede combo. Can't wait to see how it turns out! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Great choice on the combo and the shoe. I love the Gatsby and have been considering one as well.

That is a shame. Sorry they had a damage but at least they are working it out for you!! Good luck on this pair!

I really like the mink. Fantastic colour, warmer than mole. What're you ordering? Details, please! drool.gif

I'm hoping the E-width voak Thorpe GMTO will rise, phoenix-like, again ...

I'm considering a deco St. Thomas in mole with one of their exotics for the 'strap'

Is that a legally definable term? lol8[1].gif

Our wallets would be so screwed.

Awesome choices, looking forward to seeing these beauties when you get them. I'm hearing the call of the Gatsby Decos... Question - by any chance when you visited the Saville Row store, did you see if there was burgundy suede still available for MTO options? (Burgundy suede does not show up as an option on G&G's MTO site, or anywhere else.)

Thanks!
