Hard to imagine you being disappointed. The MH71 last just works for my foot. Comfortable all day without issue and I love the G&G aesthetic. I would order more if the budget allowed it.

This is the downside of that buttery soft crust leather.

As for fit EG works far better for me in standard width, but if I can luck into a wide fit in a GMTO, I count myself fortunate to be able to grab a G&G. Terrific shoes and boots.

couldn't agree more, I felt a lot of downsize and upsize here there just results in the wrong fit, get the right width and length, if it still doesn't work then the last is not for you, learned the hardway myself as well (which means a lot high end English shoe in normal width is out for me, oh well...)

Same here, great fit in the MH71 and E width.

That stinks, but he did do a pretty good job of camouflaging the issue however.

Indeed. i had also sensed that there were a lot of members up/ down sizing (including myself) and being left dissapointed.

Fortunately for me, Northampton is a 2hr drive so i can afford that luxury.

However, Im wondering why members in their respective countries who still have sizing problems and have bought GG shoes that does fit do not contact each other privately and send one another their new non fitting shoes for a sizing swap trial. Who knows, you might end up with a successful "shoe swap" and a win win.  $20  for UPS is a small price to pay and then we would have more happy campers and pictures in the forum.

I've been extremely lucky in that respect. I did that a bit initially when buying AE a few years ago and I haven't done that or felt the need to do that since. It didn't work out so well then and your right I can't imagine it working out that well anyways.

Agree 100% re right size and width.

TD is not bespoke though

Sorry for my poor choice of words - just a short cut to say that if it is not the customisation that you were asking for, it does not really matter to you TD or not TD.

In this case, it may well be the width C and the last 888 that made the boots top drawer - so good for the buyer, the discount could be much more than what he thought

Very similar with me. I've now converted to just GG over EG. I prefer the fit as styles of GG now and actually get even better service.

I love that people are now realizing that you need to adjust the shoe size to your foot and not your foot to the shoe.

Fine you proper length first and then get different widths to make it more wide or narrow if needed instead of going up or down in length. Yes it can be a bit tougher at first with the need for a MTO fee, but coming from the guy so extreme in width who now gets custom lasts in each brand, the better fit is well worth the premium in shoes that will last for many many years. That small up charge is minimal when breaking it down over a decade or more. Haha.

Cheers to all of the extra extra narrow people out there.
