Thanks dddrees for your input on the sizing re TG73.

Perfect sizing for me too but I agree with your "slightly more generous" comment. Nothing major - in fact they are perfect as I didn't want to have to wear the thin dress socks I wear on my St. James IIs with them being more casual.

Glad  to hear it worked out for you.

Are you going for a pair of Kudu Thorpes as well?

It sure did.

I admire the kudu but for me I prefer the standard Arran Grain on the standard Thorpe. Particularly, as I do not have the volume of pairs that others on this forum do I think the less adventurous styles and leathers are best for me.

Once my Decos arrive in a couple of weeks I doubt I will be adding to my shoes collection any time soon.

I do however continue to admire the examples posted on here and do, often, find it hard to resist.

Ah cool, Decos. Unfortunately I think they may be a bit to sleek for me.

No matter as long as what you are getting make you happy, that's all that matters.

Love the decos. I like that those patinas look to be opposite of each other.

Nice boots, congrats!!.  I like blind eyelets very much for that make up.  Are they too tight on the instep?.  E width?
