take them to a good cobbler and i'm sure they can hammer them down a bit for you. I did this with a pair of mine, not G&G but the principle should be the same.hmmm....maybe I just have very soft hardwood. It's frustrating because I don't want it to happen again obviously. Wearing on carpet doesn't do anything for my concerns as I'm worried about wearing these at a nice restaurant or at some other location that has hardwood and don't want to wreck their floors......but thanks for the suggestion clee.
Not sure what I'll do with the boots yet. Out of all my shoes I've never had this happen in my life, I'm 200lb but that shouldn't really cause this. Now it has with 3 of my 6 Gaziano and Girlings

any of you wear your shoes indoors? I have had a problem with my gables and now new chelsea boots where I've worn them indoors to see how they fit before wearing them outside and have put triangular shaped punctures in my hardwood with every step from the nails in the heel. With the Gable's I just struck this up to a improper finished heel but now the same thing has occurred with the Burnham's.
Will this stop once they have been worn down a bit or should I be looking to replace brand new heels?
cousin,
take your shoes off when you enter the house, you might track in some poo
