This was before the launch of the US website. Any new order will be shipped with FedEx and all customs fees are included in the price.

Hello guys - just got a letter from Dean - we have been able to secure a small batch of Oak Kudu. Initially we thought we could make about 40 pairs but unfortunately a lot of the Kudu hides were in pretty bad shape so about half was deemed by G&G as not suitable for making shoes by their standards. So we're looking at a limited run here for about 20 pairs.

This is how Oak Kudu looks like (Vintage Oak in the background):

Let me know your thoughts for GMTOs or single MTOs! biggrin.gif

What about a Montand II?

One of my most comfortable G&Gs and certainly my favourites.

Everyone - check out this link for Thorpe Kudu roll call: http://www.styleforum.net/t/338047/skoaktiebolaget-carmina-eg-gg-bonafe-saint-crispins-official-affiliate-thread/18330_30#post_8176729

Depending on demand, we might be able to swing two GMTOs in this material.

This has not been my experience as I showed in photos earlier though it is difficult to prove otherwise as there could be many factors influencing the size issue - sole, lasting and other small factors in finishing. Best to gather as much information from advice and keep the return option open is my advice.

The guys at Skoatie offer a fine service and are highly recommended.

I was sorry to hear of your issue however, as you say it does sound like a finishing/manufacture issue rather than sizing issue.

Hope you manage to get it sorted because they are lovely shoes.

They do indeed provide a good service. Already dispatched and on their way to me.

Glad to hear you finally received your Thorpes.

Yeah I got my St James II in Tan Kudu and Vintage Cedar to late to take any good pictures, so I'll have to try and get those up tomorrow as well.
