Ha! I never wear them until they get their "tires" and toe taps; I am sure the Pearl Grey will turn out to be a stunning shoe too!

I have yet to even receive the shipment notice. Its not surprising however as I opted for USPS. Basically I am willing to wait longer and not pay any additional custom fees. All rules being changed since the US website, however these were ordered prior to the new US website. I don't expect to see them for another week to week and 1/2.

So @andrel42 what is your impressions with regards to the Kudu's color and texture? Oh, and Congrats by the way!!!

Well, from Sweden to Switzerland is an overnight job if you choose the Fedex Priority option (45$) so that helps! The color is exactly as on the Skoak web, not too light not to dark and the texture of the Kudu is really a beauty! You will enjoy your soon !

No, they used to give you an option. However I think one of the shoemakers had a policy where you could only ship via FedEx. I think that may have been St Crispins but none of my St Crispins were purchased via Skoak.

Just ordered the Thorpes from Skoak. Thanks for the sizing assistance TtownMD and dddrees and NewStart for the customs clarification.

This forum both saves and costs me money in equal measure.

I figure they probably also tried to ship out the FedEx items first. Given this may have been a very large shipment I'm not really surprised that mine have yet to ship.

That's great to hear, I look forward to seeing your pictures. Once again Congrats, excellent choice if I may say so myself.

Exactly. My decos should be arriving in the next few weeks or so too. Exciting times ahead.

I ordered a walkton from skoak when they were on sale.

No custom charges or issues at all... Really quick dispatch and took only a few days to arrive.

Good to know thanks.

I am hoping to receive my thorpes before this coming weekend but opted for the free delivery which is 4-5 days. On a side note I have so far received excellent service from Gabriel - he even emailed me tonight which is very much appreciated. I am therefore hopeful for quick dispatch and the rest is down to fed-ex.

Fingers crossed.

Internet wisdom!

This has not been my experience as I showed in photos earlier though it is difficult to prove otherwise as there could be many factors influencing the size issue - sole, lasting and other small factors in finishing. Best to gather as much information from advice and keep the return option open is my advice.

The guys at Skoatie offer a fine service and are highly recommended.
