Gaziano & Girling Appreciation & Shoe Appreciation Thread (including reviews, purchases, pictures, etc...) - Page 1196

well if you haven't heard, @TtownMD and I are working on a couple of MTO or GMTO ideas.

One is a Midnight Blue Gable on the TG73

The other is a Tavistock in some type of brown calf but with the strap in Gator of another shade of brown. We are thinking of this pair on the Deco last.

Here is a John Lobb version to show with a Croc strap (close to Gator)

and then two versions of the G & G Tavistock (one in hatch grain and the other in Brown cordovan)

Hope you guys like these ideas and if anyone has interest, just add to the thread so we can gather interest before proceeding further.

Holy moly those are sharp. Curious to know if the first 6 orders would be E or F width.

Nice.

What Last are these on and how would you compare the fit to the MH71?

KN14. I don't have an MH71 in the same size (these are 9.5UK and my MH71 Thorpes are a 10 - both were sale purchases, so driven by availability and the fact that I'd expect to wear thicker socks with Thorpes.)

The new website makes the shoes look much better, honestly I did not like the angle from which they took the shoes photos in the old website.

Probably E because that is more common for people.

The grant in the deco last in vintage oak looks really nice.  I'm not usually a fan of this style.  I'm sure someone here knows, is the shoe tree lasted on the deco last?  I recall all of the other lasts use the same shape tree now, but I can't recall what the situation is for the deco.
