so much for G&G barneys sale. That would have been an excellent way to build a collection

Very true still have quite a few unworn pairs
Don't wear loafers and Aarans were tempting but honestly wouldn't wear chukkas much neither. Chelsea is tempting but feels too old for me too. Wish they had a wigmore. Green lobbs I actually wanted but the green is not that unique and shoe is a bit too bland for me overall. Rather put the $725 on a pair of G&G racing greens instead. City II would be nice but absolutely no need. At least I know what I like now, old me would bought all pairs available in my size

I don't have a single loafer in my collection because my left foot is 9E US and right foot is 9.5D US on the slightly wide side (so that translate to 8.5E UK on left and 9E UK on right for GG), though I can tell you I was super tempted by Antibes (buy 9E UK and put insert on left...), just ok with St. Tropez. Antibes has to be the first split toe I actually like

Unfortunately we all already have a large collection to speak of, not many stars with GG. Also in my case I have to put things in perspective I got my first pair of great shoes, E Zegna XXX Couture black oxford (before they had limited edition) back in 2008 for 250, plus a Ferragamo Tramezza (the single monk that looked like EG for RLPL on 888 ones) for 95.

p.s. oh and back then you could have RLPL suit for under 450..., EG for RLPL under 350...

I think Arran and the Chelsea boots and possibly the single monk, and plus maybe one more I can't think on top of my head

Thank you. Looks like i will have to give Mr. Taco a ring and find out then. Here's hoping...

I see the Burnham from Barney's is on the TG73 last, what is the Arran on? It looks like DG in some photos, and GG in others...

I don't even know if Barney's carried any GG size 11.5 UK?

I never know if I should ask for the US or UK size when I call, seeing as the website sizing is questionable...

if you talk to the NYC guys they will know US, UK sizing difference, and it's always labeled half size differences (boxes says 9E, and Barneys's own sticker says 9.5m)
