DG70. I like the look but it really tapers a lot for the toe and I prefer more chiseled shapes for GG, like the TG73 amd MH71.

It is for my vintage rioja Canterbury boots

It sounds like they will still accept GMTOs but they must all be in the same width even after the 6 pair minimum is met. Who knows if there will be a way to get it to still work for some of us in other widths but we can hope. At least the majority of people will still be okay and I'm hoping that maybe us other widths could Just pay a small premium if needed, so we wouldn't have to pay the full single MTO up charge.

Mw313 so you are saying that as long as all 6 ppl are same width they are good to go that's the rule?

That is what I know as of now. The problem is just when trying to add in other widths like wide F or G or my narrow. So adding other widths sounds to be a no go from now on, but I'm hoping that GG would allow us to just lay a small premium for their added time to do the shoe, which would still be less than a single MTO fee.

That's small comfort to those of us taking outlying widths as there generally aren't enough to subscribe a single GMTO makeup.

Moreover, the policy itself makes no sense to me. they allow different sizes, why not different widths - particularly if yoy have a single width fully subscribed? Where is the extra cost or effort on their part? You still have to use different lasts for shoes of different sizes - so where is the greater effort in grabbing the same last in a different width? I might be missing something so somebody clue me in if I am.

I'm still getting an EG vibe. Next we'll hear no GMTOs at all.

Your right I don't get it either, but then again there maybe something more to this that a lay person such as I just isn't aware of.

No the max limit is only due to availability of Kudu. Nope the width\GMTO issue came up as well.
