They aren't as deep or as reddish as @RogerP's photos so either he has awesome lighting or has a pair with a more reddish tint. I think this is close to how it looks IRL.

awesome ironist, I will get my pair when I come back from my vacation. The color should be the same on all pairs. Do not forget that even monitor you are using voucher,d influence the representation of the color.

I think those are terrific shots, Ironist. My photo spot is ridiculously good for lighting in the early morning and late afternoon - abundant indirect natural light. My Burnhams were shot in the morning and the rising sun can sometimes contribute a bit of red.

These are just terrific Chelseas.

May be time for a better lense @Ironist

Terrific boots either way

Love the color!  These would go great with both jeans and business casual.

GG Burnhams in deep vintage cedar are freaking insane. One of my favorites to get soon. Absolutely love them.

Those stairs are legendary. Some great photos have been shot on those steps.

I remember just a few years ago, you could hardly find a decent shot of any high quality footwear, things have changed no doubt. Both consumers and retailers have stepped things up a few notches.

You just have to get five others than yourself in the same width and you would be good to go.

Hmmm, that does nudge me a bit more over the fence in favor. (Still TBD, my wife and I have our Reception next Saturday, and catering, seating, etc. ain't cheap... ) I like the TG73 looks and I know it, but would happily try an MH71. As long as it's 12E. Thanks!

Walkton in Rosewood Kudu / Deep Vintage Cherry GMTO

Specs:
Price: ~ 8800 SEK ex-vat or over? (kudu upcharge?)
Model: Walkton
Color: Rosewood Kudu / Deep Vintage Cherry
Last: MH71 or TG73
Sole: Oak Bark Sole
Lining: Rioja or Cherry

Interested parties:
@mw313 - (narrow width) (MH71 or TG73)
@TtownMD - (E width) (prefer TG73 but fine with MH71)
@Steel28
@Ironist
@JubeiSpiegel
@harki (E width) (prefer MH71 but fine with TG73)
@nickrut (E width on MH71) (F width on TG73)
@bsmw (E width on MH71 (prefers)) (F width on TG73)
@CFML (F width on MH71) + metal toe tips
@easilyamused (E width) (TG73 or MH71)

Anyone still have interest on this one, so we can then have two GMTOs for the Rosewood Kudu?

And just to clarify, the kudu would only be at the quarters (where the cherry is in these pictures above) so the cherry would be at the toe (so the medallion would look okay), the facing, and the heel.

So just keep checking and if it is able to go through, you can join in. Would you have interest in either the MH71 or TG73 in the E width?

Who am I kidding, I know I want another pair of Walktons smile.gif

MW313, please put me down for the Rosewood Kudu/ Cherry Walktons. I'm in for size 12, width E, either MH71 or TG73 last.

Hmmm, if this goes through, it will be the fourth pair of G&Gs that I'll be awaiting (one pair Connaught in the RTW Vintage Pine, another pair of MTO Connaughts in Vintage Rioja, and MTO Wiltshires in Burgundy Grain)!

Easily Amused you are going to love your Connaught rtw in vintage pine I know I love mine on tg73 last.

So question for you gents how do you guys store all your shoes. Any furniture or rack you guys recommend so far I have been keeping them in shoe box that you buy from container store. But have way too many shoes so figured to find easy way to organize them.

Meh. The elastic is cut way too low.

Thanks TtownMD, the MTO Rioja Connaughts should be here in a few days, the Pine in a month or so. Yes, I am eagerly anticipating wearing both of them in the near future. The Connaught actually turned me on to Gaziano and Girling, your endorsement reinforces my decision!
