Going with my normal size and I was unable to keep the shoe on the smaller foot. With the custom order via the Rancourt site the problem was solved with one foot using the normal size and the other a half size down.

There are a few brands that will do that including AE.

Right, I vaguely remember that about AE as well.

Now if only G&G will be willing too.

It certainly makes a world of difference for me. Anyway I've got my fingers crossed.

By the way is the apron on these hand sewn like the Thorpe and Isham?

I was beginning to think not as well.

It would have been nice, but it certainly doesn't kill the deal for me either.

I just thought the handsewn apron on the EG pair I saw looked kind of cool.

How about the Holkham then, that seems to have a handsewn apron...

That's true, but you guys have chosen the Monaco.

I'd be willing to forgoe the hand sewn apron to go in on your GMTO.

I just need to find out about the mismatched sizing I require.

No GMTO is ever mine unfortunately, I don't get to play with my wide G width feet.

I'm glad to play cheerleader however, and maybe get on the order in the back end. We'll see if it matters to anyone else, it's a nice detail however...

I thought the handsewn apron looked kind of neat on the EG Pimlico anyway.

Not sure how people think about it on a G&G calf loafer however.
