That and maybe the fact that we where buying the Kudu and eventually bought it all out, at least for the most part.

There are a few in retrospect I wish I would have went in on. But if I really wanted it bad enough i probably would have.

However it sounds as though they may still have a few pairs via MTO, and it sounds more Kudu in another shade is on its way. You'll very likely have some more opportunities.

I passed them at that point because I had no clue & didn't know much about them. Plus didn't know about my sizing. You know the funny part. In all low end mall shoes I fit size 10 US and Alden Barry last size 9 LWB & AE park avenue & strand 9.5D Snugg fit. And I Have mto Ebonafe soon on size 9UK and have Alfred sargent from nmwa 106 last DB size 9 UK. You see my delama.

Everybody has to start somewhere. Be patient and there'll be tons of opportunity. Besides the sizes your stating from a quick look make sense to me. Barry tends to be 1/2 size lower, AE tends to be TTs, and I think I've read Bonafe tends to be a full size lower. These all tend to be standard for most, although some may vary. The more you read of the various threads and the more experience you gain it'll probably help.

Of course if you have the opportunity to try the various Lasts on in person first that would be ideal. Unfortunately not all of us have this opportunity. But you are starting to establish your various sizes in different Lasts so this is another approach that has worked although it may not always be 100% guarantee.

Anyway when I was ready to try a different Brand and a new Last I always went thru the entire thread checking out various options and sizing advice. I also asked the retailer for advice based on my bra nock size and sizes established on other known and common Lasts available in their stores. This has worked rather well for me, but then again I may have a fairly average foot. I just stay away from problematic Lasts as much as possible.

So far however you haven't told me anything that would tell me you don't either. If you wish to continue to build your shoe wardrobe via the Internet without trying them on in person all you can do is the best you can. Do some research, ask for help when needed, and make a decision based on the information you have at your disposal.

Besides if you buy too much too quickly you'll tend to have more regrets in the long run.

Thank you, that is what I have been doing. And I am glad there will be more opportunities to get GG kudu.

After all we arent talking Galway here. LOL

Besides since the Kudu St James Pre-Order came out later I was then able to get my Kudu shoe in the long run.  The Kudu I didn't get that I still regret a little bit is the Isham that I missed last year.

I forgot about that Thorpe.

And I still regret not going on on that st James in kudu but I need to see how I fit in that last with my Thorpe before going in on two pairs.

Oh, I understand.

Although I haven't tried that Last, I'm fairly confident with the Thorpe. Boots tend to be a bit more generous than shoes.

The St James is more a leap of faith. I have faith, now I'm hoping it all works out. Besides I have some experience with the TG73 so I'm fairly confident it will.

but it is for the MH71 not the TG73. That was my concern because I have a TG73. The main fit is the same anyway. The only difference is up by the toe, but since I sized down an extra half size to help the width and go further up the extended toe box, I just don't want to worry about the more narrow toe box being too tight, otherwise I would have been in for it.

hopefully it will be good for you, and for almost everyone it seems to be a perfect transition, just not for the long narrow foot that I have in most cases.

Speaking of a leap of faith I took leap of faith on that last TG73 half size down. Hope it works
