i would think the pin grain would be a really good looking shoe.

Oh yes it is, mine is vintage cherry, I love it. The cedar posted by nick is a great looking colour.

Just how much bigger would an 11F be than a 10.5E on the TG73, kinda want to offer the pair on eBay and my 10.5Es are pretty solid fit, a little tight on width but length is good. Figure boot would fit with a small tacco insole?

itll be a little loose, nothing a thick sock or insole wouldnt fix.

^ the tg73 is slightly narrow and stevent said his 10.5e width is a little tight to begin with. 11F would be loose with a thin sock so he'll have to wear a thicker sock or use an insole. i wouldnt gamble for $800 though. just speaking from experience

This is pretty good. However in long term it is not good to have that much black polish in the dark brown pair. I may suggest next time use less wax, more rubbing and a bit more water.

Actually I used very very little black wax. Only on the top. Rest is darkbrown wax.

Thanks for the tip. I'm on my way, will let them rest for a few days before I start :D
