^^^ Thanks DpprDr and laufer. I just made the mistake of going up a half size in length when I should have gone up in width. The boots just sit around as a consequence - someone will be able to make better use of them.

^^^ Yep. I should have known better, too. But I was overcome by the awesomeness of the boots themselves and the fact that they were in stock and available to take right home. The fit isn't horrible, but it is less than ideal. And now that I have a different pair of burgundy bal boots on order, there really is no reason to hang on to them just to admire them. Though I do enjoy admiring them!
