It might be a little boring, but i think in dark brown edge trim & welt, it would compliment this balmoral wingtip perfectly. If you go with the tanned edge trim & welt however, you can always darken it if it's too light for you, so it might be the more versatile option...

Agree with this. Whenever I hear people sizing up in length to account for something, I shudder at the thought of heel slip. I think up in width is preferable almost every time.

For me:

202/82: 7.5E
MH71: 7F
Barrie: 7.5E (American width)
Brannock: 8E

Wide foot, high instep here.

Just placed an MTO for BRG Gable on TG73 with Skoaktiebelagot, to beat the price rise.

 

I guess that makes me 'Man of (British Racing) Green Gables'!
