B, just a suggestion. It might be helpful in the listings to list the prices in SEK as per Skoab original price quotes, as not everyone in the global audience deal in USD. They can do the conversion themselves based on their native currency.

i agree with mr. Spiegel on this. if you can make a move before March 1 - do it.

i have a few in the hopper with them and I shopped them all. i know for certain it can't get better than Skoak's

pricing right now. a plus is their normal fantastic service is one of the best at any price

I would say take your same EG size. IMO your GG06 should feel just fine in your usual EG size, having the most generous toe box.

In general, the typical GG lasts are only slightly more narrow than the EG equivalent, and I would agree with that. A previous comment stated GG in general has a slighter lower instep and a slightly more snug heel, and I would agree with that as well.

thanks very much. I am thinking for a Thorpe where I would want to thicker sock of perhaps keeping my same length but going out 1 width

Thanks for starting this convo, Ryden.

The slightly lower instep relative to EG that JS pointed out scares me a bit. Even with a derby.

This is a good point, because i actually found EG to be a little loose in the heel, so the GG fit is better for me.

On that point, if your EG fit is quite good in the heel and instep, an increase in width might be a better way to go...

I was just discussing with a friend this morning that I find EG loose in the heel for me...

I've found some EG 82 Galways to be a little loose in the heel due to the way it is designed. I do not have the same issue with 82 last shoes (or the Shannon). Comparing an MH71 shoe to an EG 82 shoe, the instep seems about the same to me (and mine is somewhat high).

Speaking of GG06 does anyone have a photo comparing it with 202?

Hey what do you guys think of the specs for this MTO? Think it would look better with natural, tanned, or dark brown edge trim?

Gaziano Girling Westminster
Deep Vintage Cedar
Oak Bark Sole
Tanned sole edge trim
Let GG pick the lining
MH71 Last

Thanks
