Gorgeous shoes but for some reason I am digging the darker walnut more.

Any reason I should not be pulling the trigger on the Gable in Vintage Oak?  I don't own a Gable and have always loved the model.  Another brown lace-up is fairly low priority, but having trouble saying no at sub $900.

If you already have a lot of brown, you should try to GMTO for another color or just suck it up and pay the MTO for it since it's essentially like you are getting free MTO now for the price of a RTW model later. I'd really almost always pay the upcharge to get what you really want versus 80% of what you want. You have so many shoes it would be horrible to not wear these as often because they were a low priority purchase.

I agree with your philosophy.  These would basically replace my other mid-brown lace-ups which I would then sell or keep as "beaters."  My current mid brown are DC Lewis which I think you own as well.

Any one interested in an Uppingham in Rioja, Arran in Rioja, or Arran in Vintage Grey?

I am leaning towards placing both Arran orders by the end of month as MTOs, so thought i should throw it out there...
