Those are supposed to be faux laces, they give slip-ons a little bit more of the look of a lace-up shoe. Personally, I like them, and have liked them ever since I saw Cleverley do it on their Churchill model, but I'd certainly imagine that they're not for everyone.

IIRC i should have a pair of the deco black but as BS OW coming when Tony get back from the USA tour and i have a normal bacl too so i will let you know then if there is any difference

Monday is when they are supposed to arrive. Currently they are stuck in Kentucky. And they should be able to satisfy the Deco calf debate as well.

Since we seem to be in all talk and no photo mode here.

I have a pair of Dub Monks arriving this week.........in Cherry.

They're just RTW from the Bespoke site, nothing custom.

I hope they are as vulgar as I believe they'll be.
