Did you mean to compare hatch grain with pebble grain? Either way, I can't help...

All I am looking for is a color comparison between the oak hatch grain and walnut country calf.

Dig it!  Am I seeing things, or does this Vintage Rioja pair have a touch of plum to them?  I really like it.  Other Vintage Rioja pics I have seen hued more toward darker brown.  Could this be a subtle, intentional change by G&G?

Skoaktiebolaget carries both brands. You should probably mosey on over to their affiliate thread to ask them this question. At the very least they should be able to give you a side by side picture of leather swatches of both leathers. I believe that G&G orders their hatch grain from Horween in just one colour, strips it and then re-dyes it so colour variations can occur from batch to batch. If the colour is important to you it's probably best to purchase in person. From the pictures I've seen they're both pretty dark.

Thanks for the reply. I corresponded with Skoak direct before I posed the question here.

Congrats sir! Which last and width are those? Something tells me once I take delivery of my first G&G there's no going back :(

Thank you kindly! It's TG73 in f width. Is the width noticeable from the photo?

Oh and you have no idea how true that is. The fit, design, and lasts make it hard to go back

Not really a matter of noticing truthfully. I'm only asking because I take a F width in the MH71 so I just wanted to see if other wear the same. Great photos by the way.

I recognise them from the stock in G&G's flagship store on Savile Row. Those deco Mitchells are the business. I'm glad to see them available online - hopefully that will persuade G&G to do moar shooz as stock on the deco last!
