I don't think you guys are ready for this Arran mock-up, it's not for the faint of heart:

Arran, MH71 last
Oak hatch grain leather
Racing green lining
Single natural finish sole, w/natural finish welt
light brown laces

I think it looks fantastic, what say you gents...?

I think that looks quite sharp and I don't find that to be very "out there" at all.  Handsome boot.  I'd still prefer a smooth calf, but basically I will keep an open mind on any G&G short or tall boot that gets subscribed.

I know most people on SF steer more conservative, so i felt the statement needed to be added. I like the hatch grain in this make-up, because it has all the elements of a metaphoric tree (or forest). The hatch grain is the tree bark, green are the leaves, and the light brown is the dirt for base. Very country, but with sharp GG lines, i like it... smile.gif

So @Nick A from Bespoke England just came through for me again, and has agreed to arrange a GMTO for this make-up! I think he liked it as well... icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

If you gents want to get in on this, email him at nick@bespoke-england.co.uk for all questions on this GMTO. I'm glad i don't have to beg 5 people to join before ordering my wide size. It looks like it will be 825 pounds (exl. VAT) and 40 pounds for shipping. That works for me just fine, specs. are as follows:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Arran, MH71 last
Oak hatch grain leather
Racing green lining/sockliner
HAF sole in natural finish, w/ natural finish welt
Light brown laces (to match welt/sole color)

Thank you Nick for helping my MTO dreams come true, yet again. Can't wait for these beauties... bounce2.gif

Might have to check to see if they still accept orders for the St. James 2 model. I think GG switched over to the new (bespoke model inspired) St. James model after Dec. 1st...

I don't need anymore chukkas, but I know it will be a good looking boot.

Congrats Jubei.

Now I will know who you are next time I am in Florida and I admire those chukkas walking by me.
