Depending on the price of the shoe, but if it has to be shipped to the US a 10% fee would just about cover the shipping.

Yeah, I would probably only want chestnut hatch grain. Already have oak coming in and navy and Rioja don't interest me.

10% would obviously be on the high end. But maybe 7-8% if it's a group effort (economies of scale).

So if the shoes are 299, we each pay 24 pounds for the proxy effort (assuming 8%).

So a potential proxy could make 120 pounds for proxying 5 pairs.

That's pure profit.

I'm in, and would happily pay that or more.

Is this for the current seconds/shoe snob sale? or an idea for the future? (because I dont know how many specific shoes that people want are going to be left  in their size)

How do the 10.5G compare to the 11F width wise? I emailed GG and got a response saying that the 10.5G would still be 1/8 of an inch wider than 11F, is that your experience?

And I would also be in on a group proxy but could also wait for the list from VR to be posted. I'd ideally like to see what is available and make a choice rather than say I'm interested in X and miss out on something else that was in my size.

Yes, i have tried both sizes at the same time, and there is a slight difference in width (advantage going to G width). On the 11 F, the length was obviously a little longer as well, and i want to say the heel was marginally bigger, but i don't quite remember the heel fitting badly.

I would be comfortable with the length difference on the 11 F personally...

In!

Unfortunately I don't think that there are too much wider widths offered, for all of you who ask for that. At least they had just one pair in UK10F AFAIK. Might be better in those in 8-9 (since those were most common). You guys who visited might know more though, if you noticed wider width shoes.

I'm willing to go down there tomorrow and have a look, but I'm not sure how to organize this. I'm not willing to take on the risk of being stuck with shoes I don't need. People always say they can be flipped easily, but that's not true. B&S is extremely slow.
