Same here broham. I just don't think that color was an option. Windsors look great though. If you decide against them, I'll give you 20% less than what you paid.

How do you guys feel about the inverted toe cap?it took a while to get used to but I think I like it

Not my first choice of shapes - but on a shoe without lacings it does sort of take up a little more space than a standard cap. And that seems a good thing in this case.

(BTW - you will note I own almost NO captoe shoes. I just am not drawn to them. What can I say, I'm a freak.)

lol no. they sent the gables in 11.5UK and the windsors are 11UK.
for some reason, on the barneys site, when you choose your size from the drop down list for the shoe you want, they show the UK size to be a full size down from the US size, and they say the same in their size conversion chart. but in reality, all the GGs are only a half size down.
when i ordered the gables i chose the 12US/11UK, and got an 11.5UK. by the time i figured this out, they were sold out of the gables in 11UK. so if you want a GG shoe in an 11UK, you need to order an 11.5US which will say 10.5UK, but in reality it will be a GG 11UK. that is what i did for the windsors.
so ******* marsupialed, i know.
the gables are on the TH73 and the windsors on the MH71.
so far i am a consistent 11UK in GG.

I wound up with the Gable (TH73 TG73

) in 8.5UK and the Savoys (MH71) in 9UK, the Savoys in 8.5UK just seemed too tight across the vamp.

Not to be a butt head but its not TH73 it's TG73 (After Tony Gaziano). DG20 is after Dean Girling. And I forget what the others stand for......because I'm old and I'm usually having a martini while I'm on here at night.

And, for you last minute Christmas shoppers out there, I do just fine in all G&G lasts in a UK7.

I know - it's a shocking little secret I don't generally mention. However, if you take a look at my collection you'll find very few plain caps and no half brouges. It's not easy being me.
