That seems about right...

I'll add that they have probably shifted to focus on RTW, and don't have the time to indulge free range MTOs like they use to.

I am honestly stumped regarding placing another MTO right now. Hopefully there are some Nick monthly MTO deals in the future...

Well, the two remaining MTOs that I had budgeted for now are going to StC and EG instead.

But enough grousing for me. I still love my G&Gs and will look for opportunities for more, though mostly RTW.

+1
I love my GGs, and I hope other opportunities open up in wide RTW models. Just not MTO for me right now...

I agree with cgo. I too am waiting on my testers from RBestetti. IMO he has more edge to his designs + gives

you freedom to incorporate your ideas without a lot of push back.

He WILL respond with suggestions to ideas offered along the way which, frankly, feels good.

I am afraid my size would be MTOs. Nick stocked small sizes and sometimes monthly special before. I always buy trees with shoes so that part is ok, but I expect much tighter product control in RTW in place if they want to operate this way.

As we all know, shoe trees are also included in the price now, and there are a lot of nice shoes there. Nothing in my size...of course... ffffuuuu.gif

Hhhhnngh! There are some nice ones there.

Sizing question. I'm 11.5 in Carmina Simpson last (which are a bit snug) and 11.5 in EG Galways on 82 last (which are a tiny bit roomy). What size should I go for in GG, same? Specifically TG73, but for other lasts as well.

id say if you are a carmina tagged 11.5 on the simpson, then an 11.5 tagged GG would be right for you.

Jeesh prices up on everything. This will keep me away from buying anything hopefully. I'll post pics of those Kent's in black tomorrow since I'm out of town on business.

Cool thanks! Simpson is really only tight on one toe on my right foot (which is ever so slightly larger than my left). 12 in Simpson was too large.
