honestly, i almost dont care how the decos will look on my feet. i just want the rogers so bad.
also, the 70 is a great last. i love how it looks IRL.
A common and very bad mistake - unless the shoe fits perfectly and even has some room, don`t hope that it will stretch. Leather may stretch, but not to your size. Bite the bullet and never make that mistake again. Ive been down that path too many times.
I've got such a dilemma. Have both 8.5E and 9E: 8.5 feels a bit snug against by big and pinkie toe, but I get substantial heel slip with the 9E. Leaning towards keeping the 8.5s as such. With super skinny heels and a low instep, it's damn near impossible to find a lasted laceless that fits perfect.
Slip-on`s/laceless are a difficult one - usually 1/2 size down is recommended by some, although Nick affirmed the contrary for G&G. Could a sock help out? I mean to help adjust - but my honest advice is if it doesn't fit right first, never listen to a salesperson or your hope that it will get better. Those shoes cost a fair amount, and if it ends up in your closet unworn it would be such a waste. As regards heel slippage, if its not too bad, may just be worth putting up with...or stick to lace-ups, not as bad as you think.
Not sure what you mean by steer. These are my first venture into G&G. I have several other quality shoes, but the finishing on these two is beyond the others I have. The roth is on the "smart round" last which is pretty elongated IRL. Some say its too pointy. The oxford is on the GG06, the "traditional round." I specifically wanted an oxford on that last to have the classic black captoe. a bit of good fortune that the two I almost purchased half a year ago came up in spoo's consignment.
