Also, DSW has a pretty decent return policy.  If you can, buy both and return the one that doesn't work.

You can always return the shoes to your local DSW store. Wait a few weeks to allow for the shoes to be put on the clearance rack. Now the bigger reductions start devil.gif

They look like TG73 last which I have a pair of in UK8.5E. Hopefully the sizing is consistent. If they don't work out, I can run them to a DSW store that's about 5 minutes from work to return so not a ton of risk.

If they dont work for you and they feel too big, will you PM me? I missed it this afternoon.

yea, RL's EG and GG are almost always on UK D width, so I usually have to say pass...

rookie question - would those G&G Ralph Lauren shoes from DSW include trees by chance?

Unless you buy the trees desperately and put them in. smile.gif

I doubt it.

Spoo - you have a PM. They were overnighted to me despite the storm, however, they aren't for me. I'm too accustomed to EG lasts. Beautiful boots and they fit - just too narrow for my tastes/liking. Thanks for the sizing help everyone.

What last was it? The only last that had made me think twice was the DG70. It's on the cusp of being too pointy for me...

^^^Funny you should say that - I saw these last week but couldn't pull the trigger on any because I find the TG73 too square-toed for my liking (that, and he 9.5s were missing for most of them). And I actually like the DG70 on my Rothchilds, not pointy at all smile.gif

I can't get enough of that square toe bastard, haha! bounce2.gif

I can see myself giving the DG70 another chance, it will be interesting to see what a wide fit does to the last. Might be just right for me then...

Wow, I received the wigmores today from spoo (thanks Spoo!) and I am wearing the boots right now. I wear a 7 us which usually is a bit long so I thought I'd give these insanely small shoes a shot since they were so god damn beautiful.

I am definitely barely fitting in the boot and it fits really tight like a glove for my foot as it is snug in all directions and my 3 smallest toes are touching the edge of shoe and my big toe almost hits the top of the toe box.

It's not painful but I may be biased and pushing it since I really want to keep these and buy the rest of the shoes which would be a huge step in my wardrobe as I just started working and only have a 1 Johnson Murphy and 2 Allen Edmonds. Should I try to see if this stretches, buy the other lasts, or just give up and sell this? Any comments would be appreciated as I'm about to drop a lot of money (which might be dumb in itself). Thanks!
