I could not agree more....the SC at $1600-$1700 certainly make the G&G look like a bargain.

Leatherfoot is priced just under $200 less than Leffot comparably. If they end up having a sale, I may be tempted to go on another buying spree.

I sent them an email, they don't do sales. Plus, demand seems to be pretty strong at Leffot as it is.

Everybody does sales, it'll probably be in store only and on one or two odd pairs left

Leatherfoot had a sale on their L'anglaise (spelling?) brand shoes. Wish it applied to Carmina's and others.

Both shoes are beautiful. Black oxford shoes and lighter brown boots are great combinations.

Thinking about picking up a pair of G&G Burnhams from barneys warehouse, anyone know how the sizing works? There's a 13 D/12 UK listed, and I'm assuming the 12 UK is on the actual box, and Barneys uses a standard conversion of 13 D.

Is that conversion accurate? or would a 12 UK for G&G be more closer to a TTS 12.5 D?

no. the shoe box and shoe will be marked a GG size 12.5UK. forget conversions. what you need to know is what GG size you wear.

Yeah. Just made that mistake. I wear a UK 9E in G&G. I ordered the 10M us / 9 UK off their website assuming it would be marked 9 UK on the box (my size). Box arrived today. Wife texted me pics. Aaaaand it's a 9.5 UK. WTF...

Don't actually know my size in G&G, have any advice on general sizing?

I'm  a Carmina 11.5 UK (Rain, Inca)

Alden (Barrie last) 12 D

TTS 12.5 D
