Taking my Midnight Blue Gables on TG73 for a spin today. They feel great.

Has anyone noticed that where the shoe creases, some residue comes off? It seems like it's dried blue cream or dye or something. Also, where the leather creases, it's white. Thoughts on that?

Also, it seems a I have a number of shoes that just don't fit me well. The Fairmont in Vintage Rioja (I somehow bought two of these without realizing it), Chelsea MH71 (UK 7.5/US 8) in Vintage Cherry, Arran in Black Calf are going back. If you want them, then PM me. Otherwise, I'm taking them back to the store.

I'm on the fence with the Walkton. They're snug. Can't decide if it's too snug.

Could this be because they use crust leather? This happens to my EG and AS... just taking a stab since I really don't know.

those are waxes.  no need to worry just wipe off the powders.

do you have enough toe wiggle room in the gables?  instep girth can be resolved by loosely tighten the laces and walkton is a wholecut faux adeilade so they will contour better than captoes.

These are the Walktons per Spoo. They are a bit snug on me so I'm on the fence.
