Ready to Wear can have Toe-Tips inserted too. Sometimes I receive an email immediately after a web purchase asking me to arrange this. I take them back to G&G and leave them there for a couple of days before I ship them out.

Got the grants in midnight blue-9.5. The Walktons (9s) are still on their way.
The Grants are a little scratched up with some areas of mild discoloration. A bit disappointed. Is this typical for the Barney's sale? Or did I get unlucky?
I will likely be returning these in NYC in the next few days if anyone wants em.

Barneys SF has the shoe pictured below, and a Westbury in 9E (9.5US) in oak, if anyone wears that size.

Here are some pictures. Very beautiful shoe but lots of scratches and two 1 inch streaks of mild discoloration.
Any idea how I can fix these up? What color polish would one use on these?

They are in good condition, will have fit pics up in a sec.

I tried on the navy at Barney's and they were more grey than navy

Thanks guys! Will definitely check out Nick's site. Would he be able to give advice on sizing based on the shoes I have?

I would get and blend some grey and navy cream and go to town.

As I mentioned upthread, I have a number of G&G from Barneys from final markdown in size UK 7.5/US 8 that I'm almost certain to return to SF Barneys. I'll just sell for cost (that includes PayPal fees and shipping) or just take them back. Definitely can't keep the Fairmont and Arran. On fence on Walkton, slip on captoe, as well as Lobb Brentwood in New Gold (UK 7/US 8).

Ping me if interested

Some quick fit pics, they don't look too long at all (pardon the iPhone pics...) :

Interestingly, they are not much longer than my 10.5 UK G width MTO Wigmores:

I was actually thinking this was not going to work before they got here. They are also only a smidgen more narrow than my G width MTO, and snug but not uncomfortable. Quite interesting really, I am tempted to see how a DG70 in my MTO size would measure in comparison.

Definitely getting these in mole suede at some point...
