Stitchy liked it... smile.gif

I have a feeling GG would only bother with it for a bespoke order...

Open laced Wigmore, w/ captoe, English brown grain & vintage chestnut, on the TG73 last. EG Galway inspired...

That design might be good for my high instep...

I am as certain as I can be from a photograph; these shoes are made in that same stamped calf, GG calls “Hatchgrain” and the merchant (AA Crack in Northampton) calls “Russia Calf”

Colour: “Liquorice” (or ‘black’ to you and me)

I was merely speculating, in response to the previous alleged comments by Mr G Jr.  Anyway, I have to say I don't much like it.

^ Namor,

I have, but my lack of familiarity and support with EG limits my grail shoe options. Unfortunately my wide feet make all my purchases MTO. I would rather play it safe with a maker that knows my size and fits quite well.

If GG can make this MTO, it would simplify the variables against me.

the reason i mention it because you are pretty much asking G&G to make you a bespoke shoe in which case youll get the ultimate boot in terms of fit, atleast. EG and G&G sizing are as close as any two unique (if you can even call it that) shoe companies go (DG70 = 82, TG73 = 888, etc) youll find that the only real difference between eg and g&G is that G&G has the benefit of some great online retailers. guys like nick are always a pleasure
