This. I am a new customer of his but anticipate being a loyal and long time customer.

and Nick, this is why you will always have loyal G&G customers. My Wigmores are superb!

I wish I would've known this sooner before I tapped out my shoe collection (for now at least).

Vass should say yes since they already do it in the sense that if you order a shoe and it doesn´t fit you can return it and they will make a new one for you.

I have been privy to this exceptional service by Vass before. Luckily the 2nd fitting

worked well.  Wonder what the scenario be if the 3rd/4th pair did not work out.

interesting what frank said about vass, i would not have guessed that.

i would think that any similar offer to nicks would be more likely to come from another vendor, if at all, than the actual shoe maker/brand. i would think that it needs to be a smaller operation that draws a client base it is closer with and can trust.

with someone large like JL, EG or CJ, they could never offer that level of trust to the general public and not get hosed.

A great pair that I got from nick about a month ago. Fits great when I have not been overeating.

I would guess the seller will require a deposit up front or the full cost of the shoes and a full refund granted if the shoes

comes back*

I am sure some of the affliliate vendors are reading this thread and thinking what a fantastic opportunity to increase revenue

(or what stinking idea, we're so busy with 10 months waiting list, who gives a damn about this service)

*Back in once piece

yes, the only way for a large retailer would be to secure payment or a credit card info for the try ons, up front. even still, i doubt they would do it. they would make you pay and give you the option of return at best.
