here it is.

Since I've been brought up: I asked Tony about this when I was ordering mine - since we had an hour to chat - and he said explicitly that the point on the heel counter was the only difference between the two.

Also, I will use heel counter when discussing this in the future. Somebody cue a star to fly by the NBC logo.

Oof. St James in Vintage Cherry or this Deco. It's pictures like these that make me start busting out my wallet and calculator.

I'm 95% sure that's the papworth - a deco shoe.

It is. The girlfriend convinced me to get the St. James and use the money I would've used on the Deco to help get a green pair later.

2 GG's with great colors? I'm okay with that.

Just a good-natured tweak...but where are the toe counters? The instep counters? puzzled.gif

What a sole. Did you go MTO? The toe plates are different than those I have. May I ask how much?

I know. When I used the term it was actually in the sense that the toe cap is the term I know for what's up front and I was having to guess at the term for the heel counter. However, I am perfectly willing to let a shoe maker teacha.gif me when it comes to terminology.
