Has anyone seen an Astaire on the DG06 last?

I ask because I ordered a pair at the G+G show at Leffot a few months back. I think they are a great looking shoe on the DG70 last, but unfortunately that last doesn't work for me...So I took a chance and am making them on the GG06.

Has anyone ever seen the Astaire on a GG06 ? Or opinions on how it may turn out? I'm a bit nervous about this one..

yup. noticed that long ago when doing a search for the thread. was a *****. come to think of it, someone should edit the thread title to make it easier to find in the future.

Sad to say I never noticed and even had to read it a couple times before I noticed after you pointed it out.

Many HAF sole do look bad.

Yes,
many maker do poor HAF sole.
Vass do poor job and do unbalance shoe,
many photo show it here.

Often with HAF soles there is no compensation made with the heel height and you get a shoe tip that is too far of the ground.

G&G seems to be overwhelmed. I was quoted 4 month on my MTO last year, and it actually took 7 month to complete.

Be patient they are worth the wait.

i know they are, but it doesnt ease the pain. im thinking of starting a heroin addiction to get me through this difficult time in my life.
