You can get em cheap in Thailand, so many shops selling Stingray shoos. But they are damn ugly and in crazy colours. I saw some black and white ones in Phuket on Saturday

One improvement that can be made is to make the heel counter a standard one, without the point, and have it spaced a little more away from the ankle edge. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed.
Note also the considerable variation in this spacing between the right and left shoe.

i preferred them with heel counter. jj always goes without.
