Does anyone have both G&G's oak hatch grain and EG's Walnut country calf? If so, how close in color are they? Thanks.

Did you mean to compare hatch grain with pebble grain? Either way, I can't help...

All I am looking for is a color comparison between the oak hatch grain and walnut country calf.

Dig it!  Am I seeing things, or does this Vintage Rioja pair have a touch of plum to them?  I really like it.  Other Vintage Rioja pics I have seen hued more toward darker brown.  Could this be a subtle, intentional change by G&G?

Skoaktiebolaget carries both brands. You should probably mosey on over to their affiliate thread to ask them this question. At the very least they should be able to give you a side by side picture of leather swatches of both leathers. I believe that G&G orders their hatch grain from Horween in just one colour, strips it and then re-dyes it so colour variations can occur from batch to batch. If the colour is important to you it's probably best to purchase in person. From the pictures I've seen they're both pretty dark.

Thanks for the reply. I corresponded with Skoak direct before I posed the question here.
