because the barneys website lists the conversion as a full size down from US to UK, when in reality, in their system they are only a half size down. so whatever UK size is listed on the website, it will really be a half size larger when you receive it.
Oh okay.

They are 8UK not 7.5UK. There have been many posts here about the wrong sizing info Barneys has online.

Thanks for the clarification; the shoes might not fit then. If anybody wants them, I'll let them go for $650 shipped (this should cover shipping, pp fees and sales tax I paid).

You know the story by now...Barney sale. Learning from Stitchy i was able to navigate the sizing jungle and end up with the right size. Big thanks to NAMOR who bought them and shipped them to me. I´ve orderd lasted trees from Skoaktiebolaget and ended up paying what a pair of benchgrade C&J + trees cost in Sweden :slayer: The leather is a bit dry and have some small scuffs but nothing that won´t go away with some polish (what do you use for Vintage Ceder?)

Nuff said, here are the pics :D

Yes. But its not worth it. Sell and order another one would probably be cheaper.

Off the top of my head, DWFII @ OR, Paul Krause @ AZ, Liza Sorell @ OH should all be able to do it at a cost. Maybe you should enquire Suzaanegeorge @ SF.

The boots would most likely be disassembled completely and put back together.

Why not just go bespoke and all out with lizard skin suede shaft, ilcea radica calf cap, and sea turtle or sharkskin quarter?

Not only is it not worth it, it's not going to be a job that any established shoe/bootmaker is going to be eager to take at any price.

IMO

Paul Krause's weblog regarding shoe reconstruction/resizing that involves pattern alternation. But yes, not worth it IMO for a pair of G&G RTW.
