Personally my favorite belt that I own has to be my Col Littleton No.1. Very unique design, great craftsmanship, and a true lifetime guarantee. It also doesn't hurt that the company is located about an hour south of my house.
Who makes the best belts? - Page 6
Plenty actually. I want more chrome buckle choices and more colors for the more flexible Baker leather! More patina choices other than oak brown for sure. Then the long waited watch straps.
There are a few others that have and will continue to patinate
Bakers London Tan
There are also lots of watch straps here, if patina is your thing (it is mine) the Barenia and the Oak Brown are amazing leathers and probably make our best watch straps. I even made a test natural watch strap the other day as well
:-) - will continue to butt out of this thread now but thank you to all who have said nice things.....
Digging up an old thread here.
In London I saw a very nice Prada ostrich leather belt. They stamp (?) the quill follicles so they don't peel. The salesman told me the belt was hand stitched though I am not sure I need to look at it more closely.
How are the quality of Prada's belts? In terms of quality I really like JM Weston belts but I wont buy them again because they (like many higher end belts) have a second loop far from the buckle which I have to push under my pants belt loop (I'm probably doing something wrong).
I bought my black quick release belt from http://www.worcestershireleathercompany.com/ and I am extremely happy with it. Thick leather, and solid brass buckle. The difference between a hand made belt and store (even some brand name belt) is noticeable. I may buy my next belt from Equus Leather for comparison and their price point is more attractive.
Thanks for the above and interested to know the outcome with regard to pricing as I feel my prices are very competitive in comparison and the quality should be excellent.
