Take the "Proud America". The democrats were apologizing to the world for America's greatness. And Reagan said this type of thinking is wrong. The democrats had obviously fallen into a type of mental illness. Where is America today? If we were where we should be Trump wouldn't be saying, "Make America Great Again". Trump is right. Following methods that caused us to slide down will not bring us back up. Rubio, thinking what Reagan did will correct problems of today..., except we have different problems. Years ago, when I snow skiied, towards the beginning I was dependent upon skills like stance, how I placed my skiis, etc. When I got better I changed to using momentum. The previous techniques were not important anymore, just simple aids, like using a secretary. From the secretary view point, she's really important. But it is the person who understands momentum, or there is no secretary. Hillary has not progressed from simple aids to momentum. She doesn't even know there is the higher level, momentum. It is obvious that Trump knows about momentum. That is the level he is talking on. It is day and night difference. When you know momentum, it leads. Of course, you have to point it in the right direction. Momentum is far smoother than relying on simple aids hitting every bump. And then, heading in the right direction is another problem Hillary has. She is a bit confused. She thinks she knows. But she hasn't looked around enough to know. That's enough for now.

Kerry? He hasn't changed, has he? Do you like some of the deals he and Obama have done. Is the world a safer place? Why has Putin stepped up? Something about the fact that Kerry and Obama are soft in the head when we need strength? Do you need me to say more?

So... vote Trump because he has momentum and Hillary doesn't

This election cycle is weird to me cuz generally it's the Democrats who are unsatisfied with the status quo and want change and the Republicans lash out saying that means they don't love America. This year the DNC had more patriotic themes in speech and look than the Republicans. Republicans slogan is Make America Great Again as if it's not great now and Democrats are basically arguing America is already great but could be greater

You r making argument against Kerry in 2004 using assertions based on 2016? I did not realise you had a crystal ball then to see Obama presidency unfold. Putin has not stepped up, he is merely reactionary. He is still a regional actor on his country's borders, and desperately trying to protect his only naval base abroad. Narrative of aggressive Russia is laughable Western bullshit.

I have to say I'm laughing my ass off at all the hysteria and faux outrage in Canada over the Trump pussying grabbing comments as Canada is the home of the FHRITP phenomena. Oh, they hate when I bring that up.

I'm surprised anyone would get upset as I think you are reaching for hypocrisy here. One is a viral hoax that turned into a short lived meme and the other are comments about women made by a man running for the office of the President of the United States.

Are Canadians collectively responsible for that meme or something? What's the supposed hypocrisy there?
Well, the Trump outrage is usually accompanied/prefaced by remarks such as it could only happen in America or something like that would never happen in Canada. You Yanks do not understand just how much so many Canadians hate you and look down on you.

Mouse, not a hoax. It really happened and some folks really lost their jobs over not doing it but for not condemning it.

Whatever FHRITP is I am sure it was uttered by Justin Trudeau or some other politician vying to become head of state. Can you please stop doing the "people complain about this but they don't consider that their side blzblabla" who the fuck cares? When you look at Trump there is no one to compare him to except a flaming bag of shit. The bag has more cogent foreign policy positions though.

Watch this video. "A supercilious conviction of Canadian moral authority." Ouch.

And no, Trudeau had nothing to do with FHRITP. Although there's lots of women than wish he would. wink.gif

It's not "consider the other side" it's comments like, "Our side would never do anything like this." Putting your own tribe out as superior, when it clearly isn't, is worthy of note. If you don't think it is, that's fine.
