Yeah Bill was sleazy but Trump sounds rapey and in case of Ivanka extremely creepy.

Bill is accused pretty credibly of actually being rapey.

Yes, I don't disagree. But an accusation is different than hearing the person himself talking about it.

Well now, Trump didn't talk about raping women, did he? Didn't he say something about women allowing him to grab them by the pussy because he was the Trumpster? The key point would be he indicated they gave consent because of who he is. Highly, highly douchey but not rape.

Either way Trump is a fucking disaster and embarrassment and Hillary should be thanking her personal god (Satan) daily for the GOP putting up the most unlikable and unqualified candidate in the last 100 years.

Well, the way I heard it was that he *assumes* consent so he make a move as soon as he sees a beautiful woman. That is rapey unless you believe 100% of women will consent to him (a bit exaggerated of course :-))

It's bizarre to see faceless, mostly anonymous people playing this pretend game on the internet. There is absolutely no comparison between Trump's transgressions and those of Hillary and Bill. Being married to an accused rapist and intimidating one or more of his victims is much worse than what Trump said. Anyone claiming otherwise is not thinking clearly. The media's role in this election is the only reason we still have a race. If it were possible to have fair media, Hillary would be dead in the water and her donors would have backed out long ago. Hell, she wouldn't have even been a contender for the nomination if we had honest press.

The media couldn't be any harsher on Trump, so a fair press would not hurt Trump's current numbers. On the other hand, an honest media would have Hillary polling 15 or 20 points behind Trump. The fact that Trump is polling nearly even with Hillary given that the media has become an extension of her campaign is nothing short of astounding. To pretend otherwise is just silly.

But Trumpster thinks that so in his mind not rape. IMO, that's actually what was probably going through Bill's mind when he did what he did in the various allegations. Bill also couldn't fathom a woman not wanting him.

This is delusional. Putting aside the various side shows Trump is ultimately unqualified to be POTUS and would be a fucking disaster. Let's be serious here, m'kay?

It really does show a total lack of judgement on all levels. He had no idea he was going to run for president when the comments were made but he was still a well known public personality, important business man aspiring celebrity.

That's all even ignoring his far more current sexist comments. If people want to keep pretending a man with so little judgement and self awareness is fit to be Predident go on and have at it. I just wonder how many of those making excuses for this mess have daughters or nieces. Is this really the type of man you want to prop up? Shouldn't the Presidency be an office that we can at least pretend with a halfway straight face one that they can look up to?

I legit dislike Trump and like Clinton but I don't care too much for this latest "scandal"

He said it 10 years ago. For all we know Bill has said the same kinds of things. It's your typical crass private frat jock misogynistic talk but if this is the thing that was the last straw for you...

What about the absolute ignorance on domestic or foreign affairs and the unwillingness to actually learn something other than conspiracy theories, what about all the other douchebaggeriness for a guy running to be the head statesman and diplomat. He called for countries like Saudi (and Japan) to get nukes in response to Iranian nuclear armament instead of holding peace talks and deals. I don't think he even knows what NAFTA or TPP is. I don't think he even knows what the problems with the immigration system actually are. He sure as hell doesn't know what the procedure for refugees is. All the responses from the religious right are like "at least he doesn't support abortion and gender reassignment surgery!" only I'm not even sure he actually doesn't. He supported abortion before family life foundation got involved.

His being creepy is the least of my worries. Every YouTube comment talks about how Clinton is a liar. Trump is beyond lying. At least Clinton can recognize what's a lie and what's a truth in this world so you can at least have a discussion. Trump lives in his own world. The actual truth is whatever he thinks it is. How do you even react to that or have semblance of a reasonable discussion with him? Like how would that legitimately work when he sits down to make policy deals with Netanyahu or Rouhani or when gives a speech before the GA about some us policy. Does he blame the mic again if it's absolutely terrible and clear he doesn't know what he talks about? How does he try and convince Congress to pass his tax bill? If it passes how does he try negotiate which programs to drastically cut? Or does he not care about balancing the budget like he says he does and then just ignores it?

Does he even know how our government works? Does he even know what a POTUS does?

This sounds exactly like what many Repubs said during the 90s. Oh the humanity.

I think what Inde said is more on target. It's a losing game, IMO, for Dems to act all outraged over Trump's sexual issues given the record of both Clintons. Just focus on the fact Trump is spectacularly unqualified on the bona fides and temperament is legit and plenty enough not to vote for him.

What does "rapey" even mean in your lexicon? Where are the victims of Trump's rapes? Are all men who hit on women seem creepy to you?
This feels like Breitbart. You Republican moralists impeached Bill for consensual relations with Lewinsky. And by the way, the rape allegations against Trump seem pretty legitimate. He allegedly raped his wife and his lawyer's defense was that it was impossible to rape your wife. He is also being sued by a woman who claims to have been raped by Trump when she was 13. And there is at least one other allegation. The truth is all the family values talk was complete BS. And the claim of hypocrisy is hilarious coming from hypocrites. I eagerly await more fallout when the Apprentice tapes come out and Trump's victims begin to surface in greater numbers.

Are you crazy? The Dems would be idiots not to hammer on this. They finally found their silver bullet. Haven't you realized that nobody cares what Bill did? If Trump had been able to get Hillary to look bad because of Bill, he would have already, which I'm pretty sure is a point both you and Gibonius have made before.
