Will Bill Clinton turn the White House into a brothel, if they win? The guy should be locked up. And why hasn't she divorced him by now?

Why should he be locked up?

Pimping is probably the least of any possible crime the last several guys in the Oval Office have committed.

I would love to hear how Trump's personal income taxes relate to his fiduciary duties. Maybe I missed that in law school.

Also enjoying how his deplorable surrogates are spinning this as his tax genius being the reason he is going to change the tax code given that: (1) his tax preparer said that Ivana asked more questions about the tax returns than Donald did and (2) none of his tax policies in any way address these points and he has never talked about reforming the tax code to prevent people from doing what he's done - he just promises to lower everyone's taxes even more.

To be fair it's not like any POTUS writes tax code. They just latch onto wonderful ideas like limiting deductions to 28% as why should "rich" people get a bigger deduction? Granted Trump couldn't talk policy to save his life but much of this mess is the fact he's too arrogant to have good handlers taking care of the required shit for him.

I thought lobbyists and office drones/aides wrote legislature even for senators and congressman

Apparently his aides tried to prep him to talk policy but they gave up after awhile

Of course none of the elected folks actually do the writing but we were just talking about presidents and those that are running for the job. I do wonder though how they get convinced some of the stupid shit I hear uttered is a good idea though. I figure focus grouping of idiots and then adopt the key concepts from there.

As I was told many times in the two Obama cycles just shit you say to get elected. I mean, have the oceans stopped rising and the global temp started to drop?

I'm with you, I want what these people say to mean things, but I've given up that fight for the most part when it comes to campaigning.
