Trump shouldn't have said this, but somebody really needs to. Let's stop playing make believe and consider that despite heroes like Khan's son, Muslim immigration is not a net positive to this country, and sure as hell hasn't been a net positive to Europe.

Trump will lose if he keeps this up. I thought he was going to stop making these mistakes months ago. As you point out, he squandered his post RNC bump. He'll get it back if he can show some restraint.

Taibbi has spent his career making fun of the Tea Party, and yet the DNC was basically one big Tea Party, pocket constitutions and all! Who knew the DNC's platform was about American exceptionalism, the founding fathers and the constitution, something liberals have spent the last 8 years mocking. There are a handful of months every election cycle during which liberals become patriotic and get all googly eyed for traditional American principles, then spend the rest of the time trying to fundamentally transform the country.
I doubt the people on Duck Dynasty care what "smart" people in LA and New York think of them. The cast members on Duck Dynasty probably find those people to be revolting.
