Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty spoke at GOP convention tonight.

Are you going to say he is not an icon, great American, and super star?

He is even bigger than Scott Baio.

Melania's speech reminded me of a eulogy you'd give for someone everybody knew was a huge asshole. Completely generic, with no personal stories or anecdotes to back anything up.

I think she sounds cute. How can be here for 20 years and have such a thick accent? Fabio is the same way, can't understand a word he says and he's been living here for a long time.

I might not be remembering this quite right, but I seem to recall Arnold trying to adopt a more "American" accent in the late 80's to early 90's and then decided "fuck it" because his accent is a part of his brand and makes him more marketable as such. Perhaps Fabio and Melania both figure there's no reason to reduce their accents.

This makes a lot more sense now, considering that Melania was raised by the same people who raised Barack and Michelle, and who also enjoyed the music of Rick Astley.

Strikingly similar speeches, except I doubt we'll hear Melania say something like this:

Damn those accents, hope they don't get rejected because of those accents at the first round of job interviews.

Why everyone assumes she meant USA in her speech?

For those who never saw her on The Apprentice, she is pretty much the most evil woman to grace television. I just love how bizarre all of this is. Trump enters race, destroys every competitor along the way, the VP is vetted by his children who have never worked in politics, and he gives Omarosa a job.

A buddy of mine was on Omarossa's spinoff show. He said she she was nicer than she let's on but she was nuts

Did not watch a second of it nor do I plan to. This is complete fucking embarrassment and I don't blame just the Repubs for this shitstorm.

i tried to watch but it was difficult after 30 seconds. who else do you blame ?

i don't think the plagiarism, absurd as it is, will have much of an impact one way or another.

The convention isn't about Trump convincing the general public to vote for him; it's about Trump winning over the traditional elements of the GOP. To that end, this certainly isn't going to help him, whether or not it directly affects the voters.

None of this would've happened if Hillary Clinton was prosecuted for the Benghazi cover up.
