P.S. I have it on good authority that Trump's latest MRI shows that his brain looks suspiciously similar to giant prostate gland.

Well there is a thread in the CE, that was started early in 2015, where the OP said she would win because it was her turn. That guy is an idiot so I didn't believe him.

Tomorrow night, CNN whips out its Johnson...

Good to see others getting some exposure.  Fully prepared for nothing even resembling a libertarian answer from Johnson/Weld though.

What is libertarian answer? I imagine: It is some sort of juvenile nonsense Ayn Rand-style? Please correct me if I am way off.

Well, Hillary's foreign policy is to the right of Bush 43, and Trump is a limousine liberal, so ideological purity is not a litmus test for this election cycle.  Johnson and Weld each have resumes that feature eight years as "red" governors of "blue" states and can (hopefully dear Jesus) deflect tin-foil hat questions about heroin, chem-trails and drivers licenses into discussions of how each has more real-world executive experience working in a bipartisan fashion than the two legacy candidates combined.

First, despite your simplistic world view, Randian Objectivism isn't one in the same as libertarianism.  Also, neither Johnson nor Weld pass any kind of libertarian purity test.  As an example, Weld is a big proponent of gun control.

I agree that there is no purity litmus test this time around.  Although I would argue most Democrats are actually very pro-war, they just don't talk about it because a big part of their electorate is anti-war.

It is probably good for the Libertarian Party that they nominated these guys.  I just don't expect them to back up any of their policy positions with any kind of coherent ideology.

How about you and I live-blog the town hall right here tomorrow night?  That'll show you exactly how way off you are.  It'll be fun.  And the Cubs play an afternoon game so you won't be missing anything important.

Yeah, I think "Hillary and her BFF Anne Marie Slaughter own the Libya disaster" is an effective campaign strategy.

I don't think "My VP pick oversaw the CIA prison that resulted in the Benghazi attack and served as a way station for arms transfers to Syrian rebels" is.

He's been planning the assassination attempt for a year and the best he could come up with is "try to grab a cop's gun and shoot"?  The UK sure isn't sending us their best and brightest.

We are going to have to ban all British men from coming into the United States until we can figure out what is going on.
