The narrative has always been to deny that these people have any agency. No reason to change it up over a little bit of political violence.

The media isn't talking about that too much, but your Rust Belt voters who feel like the economy has left them behind are all about this stuff.

Is there a Republican/conservative platform Trump supports besides deporting illegals?  He's pro Kelo v. New London and anti-free trade.

Not sure. He's got decent overlap with Sanders on a lot of this stuff. I'd say there's a reason all the corporatist mainstream Republicans were so against him and so quiet about supporting him now.

This is insane. That was absolutely one sided. All of the violence and vandalism we've seen in the videos of SJ have been one sided. Violence is not a reasonable reaction to anything the Trump supporters did.

Trump will do a modified Ramadan observance.

He will not eat or drink anything, while he is sleeping, in observance of Ramadan.

He will also have a huge Eid al fitr celebration at Trump Tower.

Shitty time of year for Ramadan. Long days.

I hope this post is full of unfunny IRONY that I don't get.

This rant of Trump's about the judge on the Trump University case is quite something. Spending 10+ minutes as a major party Presidential candidate personally attacking a federal judge? Sure, why not! Is this a deliberate campaign strategy, or are Trump's advisers cringing in the corner while Trump does Trump? Amazing stuff.

Ends up concluding in the WSJ that the guy has a conflict of interest because he's "Mexican" and so he can't rule on Trump University because Trump wants to build a wall. Let's see how many neat racial dividing lines Trump can draw over the next couple months, should be fun.

I haven't seen all of Trump's comments so I'm not sure whether the "He's a mexican" bit has been cherry picked or taken out of context, but others have pointed out that the judge is or has been a member of the "La Raza Bar Association" (or something like that), which unsurprisingly takes political positions adverse to Trump's on immigration.

That being said, even letting himself be taken out of context (assuming that's the case) shit-talking the judge is stupid. Really stupid.
