depends how strictly you define segregated, but in the southwest for example you'll find distinct boundaries where whites live versus latinos versus natives.

what european nationalists (or at least anti-immigrant) will often argue is that the behavior of these folks is what leads to the response of ghettoization and refusal to allow integration. sort of chicken and the egg, except if you go back to the time that they were being imported en masse as cheap labour you'll find it was still the case. of course it's still a two way street.

meanwhile, in england ... the muslamic takeover continues as London is set to be the caliph's new throne http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2016-36232392

I do believe there's some data showing segregation increases the more liberal/Dem and area is too. Not 100% sure on that but am 100% sure if my memory is incorrect someone will provide some data. smile.gif

Well since segregated groups ,read poor/ ethnic/immigrant, seem to gravitate to the liberal side of the spectrum that is pretty much a given

Perhaps one should give thought to affluent white enclaves in large urban areas.

I think Washington, DC would probably be in the lower right hand corner of that graph. If a DC neighborhood is diverse, it's probably undergoing gentrification.

It's pretty stark in a lot of areas of the US. This is a good visualization tool, colors in a dot per household by ethnicity. You can see some amazingly stark divisions in many areas.

It's interesting on the microlevel too. Like "hey, that's the Hispanic block." A whole apartment complex, and it'll be 90% Hispanic while the next one over is all black.

Yeah, I can see the Hmong area, and the section 8 housing apartments, etc around here easily from the map.  To your point, you can see where there are two large apartment complexes where one is  almost all hispanic and one is all black.
