What's strange is watching Trump's biggest fans become outraged that Mitt Romney, who is arguably less progressive than Trump on many issues, is giving his two cents.

I read a few gun forums regularly, it's the most bizarre thing I've seen since becoming interested in politics. If you had read these forums over the last 7 years, it would blow your mind seeing the things that Trump's biggest fans are saying. They have embraced everything they hated about Obama's administration/tactics. There are a lot of Cruz supporters on those forums, but I think Trump's dominance in the primary means that at least 75% of the country is progressive, some of them just don't know it.

It's mind boggling to me that Trump has made it this far. I know many Republicans, but not a single supporter of the man. Infact most I know downright detest Trump and would rather not vote at all then support him in the election.

With Trump we get a wall. That's huge. A wall would have kept California from collapsing into left wing savagery. Yes, he's got his faults and is dangerous to world peace and all that, but . . .

peepwall[1].gif

wall.

Trump is less of a threat to conservative ideas than is Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio. The problem with money changer Republicans is that they actually can accomplish their goals. Like open borders, the creation of China as a superpower, trillion dollar deficits, Common Core, and Justice David Souter.

Most Trump supporters just don't know the word for what they like about Trump: nationalism. Because nationalism has not been a part of American politics for a very long time (if it ever was). So they call it "conservative" because american politics wants to divide everything into "liberal/conservative"

Except many of those similarities are things conservatives like, e.g., defense spending, drone strikes, etc. I'm talking about something entirely different.

The way the media has flipped on supporting Trump in the last week or so is hilarious. They couldn't stop bashing him until he started winning primaries, and now they've got talking heads leaping to the rescue when Mittens goes after Trump. What did you people expect, the entire establishment has been openly against Trump from the start. Including you, Fox News. Now it's heresy for Romney to attack him because he's the front runner, and everyone is apparently supposed to fall in line.

That's unusual I guess considering the fact that no2 and no3 are Rubio and Cruz who are way more scary. Also type of bought out slimy androids are the reason why Trump is on the rise.
