Trump is #2 in GOP Field - Page 86

NPR just said over half of NH republicans have not made up their mind on who they will vote for. What the hell?

NPR's reporting on Republicans is about as reliable as a vegetarian's review of Morton's.

I think that's great for non-Trump fans. As it should mean he could be in for another surprise tonight.

It's sad to say but Trump is probably the only realistic shot the republicans have. Who would have figured this a year ago? Cruz has no mass appeal and others here have already covered Rubio's flaws.

Kasich has little chance to get the nomination.

But if he did, don't you think he has more mass appeal than Cruz, and more gravitas than Rubio?

Yeah, and I thought of mentioning him just because of his recent buzz but I still don't see him winning the primary. He is probably the most likeable out of everyone on stage but I'm not confident he would perform well in a debate against Hillary. He's too nice. Romney tried that against Obama and it didn't work. Her people are going to play the gender card no matter what, and Obama the race card, so you might as well have someone up there who is willing to tell Hillary that she's scum and at the very least has no business being commander of the u.s. military after how she handled the aftermath of Libya.

Kasich is too moderate for the Republicans and too war-mongery for Democrats. Can't see a lot of crossover appeal from a guy who wants a fullout invasion of Iraq and Syria.

Some might say Hillary is the Repub's best chance.

I think Bernie is the GOP's best chance.  Nothing will motivate the Republican base better than a socialist, and one who openly claims it (unlike Obama).

If it's Hillary vs. Donald, the GOP warmongers (McCain, Graham, Ayotte, Cotton, Peter King) and their puppet-masters (CFR, AIPAC, Adelson, the remnants of PNAC) will back Clinton.

I actually buy into the attack on Trump that he is potentially dangerous.

Trump is the poster child of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Doubtful? Read one of his books. It is an amazing experience. Out of curiosity, I am listening to one of his books on tape on the commute into work. I am experiencing what most people around NPD must experience. At first, Trump is bold, brash, funny, and entertaining. But as the book goes on, you start to understand the pattern. And at some point you understand that you listening to the words of a mentally ill person. DSM-V type-stuff. Trump's feud with Rosie O'Donnell, Trump's talk of his beautiful women, Trump's love of revenge . . . Its all textbook NPD. This isn't a show. This is a successful narcissist.

Obama also suffers from NPD, but his is more muted in tone. I could explore this more but you guys know the score.

Anyway, Trump's mental disorder may cause a nuclear war, but at least I'll get my wall.

So I've got that going for me.

Glenn Beck has done some good work on the personality flaws, in addition to Trump's progressive streaks. Beck can be a kook but he's also brilliant at times. He sees Trump as a true progressive and something Beck warned would happen, with respectable accuracy I might add, going all the way back to his days at Fox.
