I suspect Trump's supporters have many different reasons for liking him. A lot of it is emotion, but despite all of his pandering and vagueness he does have some good ideas. They are not unique to him, though. Other candidates feel the same way, but I'm not sure if we would be talking about some of this stuff without Trump.

Americans don't want to hear solutions. They want to hear platitudes.

"Hope and Change."

"Paygo."

"Its the right thing to do."

To some, Trump is 2016's Obama of 2008. A canvas upon which people can paint their hopes and dreams.

To me, Trump is not a suitable president but the carpet is moldy, the roof is leaking, and the radiator is on fire, so I'm not particularly concerned if a raccoon wanders in.

Plus, the wall talk.

I largely agree with this, except I don't really see any candidate that would make a suitable president this election cycle.

This threak is about Trump not about some stupid third-party that no one cares about.

Never. Anybody who has enough ego to actually run for president shouldn't have the power of the presidency.
