Tank top or fitted t-shirt under dress shirt? - Page 3

I have one of these in Black, White, and Blue. Though I wish I had a gray one they don't seem to sell it in that color. They go nice with a matching color shirt over it. Very soft, clingy, breathable and thin.

Funny part is that I got a MTM shirt. When I wore the shirt for the first fitting I felt like a Russian dancer. So the shirt could not have been too tight. Imagine a XS guy wearing a meduim shirt. I wouldn't want to wear another shirt because every guy needs the essential white shirt. I live in FL, so the heat will be quite unbearable. However, the event that I am going to is indoors. So I'll suck it up to be the best dressed at the event. I was told that wearing an undershirt actually helps you in keeping cool.

I wear white broadcloth shirts quite often and always wear an athletic undershirt (tank top style) with them.

Fairly cheap - vague statement, but try Brooks Brothers Supima Cotton Undershirt - three pack.

Heather grey, huh? I will go out and get some right away. I always wear a v-neck t-shirt under my dress shirts, but always go with white. Even though I'm in Arizona, I still need to wear an undershirt because I'm a sweater and it absorbs the layer of sweat and keeps me from pitting out.

asians, yes. i think it depends more on skin tone than ethnicity. best to bring a white shirt along to test it?
